the word has was different back then. Now the word barbarian describes mad cannibalistic people but back then it was used to describe those people who were not Greek or Roman. So really was their reputation as barbarians justified? Well I would have to agree; yes it was, for you see the Celts were barbarians from the point of view of the Greeks and Romans who could not learn to accept them as a people.
