Another drug currently on the market called Meridia (or sibutramine) which was approved in 1996 surpresses appetite. However, both these drugs have their side effects - Meridia can raise blod pressure, while Xenical can cause diarrhea and fecal incotinence if you eat too much fat while taking it. Even without the side effects, I would study away from any weight loss supplement, considering their record.
