It is difficult to decide whether the treaty of Versailles was a fair or an unfair treaty - it depends on the point of view, but I personally think that the treaty was quite harsh and unfair... The main reason why I think that this treaty was quite unfair is that Germany didn't have a say in its own future, and I think that, despite all, Germany should have had the opportunity to go to

to many Germans, it should be remembered that Germany might easily have feared much worse. If Britain and America didn't restrain France, and if it had depended entirely on Clemenceau, the treaty would have been much harsher for Germany.
Summing up, I definitely think that the treaty wasn't at all fair, and that Germany should have paid some reparations and lost some territory - but maybe one or the other... or both to lesser degrees.
