Andrew Carroll has given America a priceless treasure. These letters are intimate, deeply personal portraits of the courage, sacrifice and sense of duty that made this country. It reminds me that greatness is carried on the shoulders of regular men and women who love their country.
Overall, War Letters was a good book. It is long, but I would recommend it to someone interested in war or someone who likes to read.
