Laurier tried to make Canada a prefect place to live, which would make all Canadians happy. His compromises were a good thing for the country. The French-English Relations, the Boer war and The Naval Issue were some of the example, which proved this.

Laurier wanted everyone to be happy but it turn out to be he only made half the people happy and the other of the people were mad the British thinks that Laurier did too too much for them but, the English think he did way too little. I think Laurier did his best to make everyone happy. After reading this Essay I think you would agree with me that Laurier is a good prime minister.
