Veterans Veterans are those who have served in order to honor and protect their country. As these individuals boldly practiced their beliefs in freedom, they inadvertently rewrote history, and we as Americans honor these patriots who were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. …showed last 75 words of 403 total…way that the American people think that they should be honored is through one day a year. That belief is selfish and totally self-centered, and should be changed. The veterans did not ask for this one day of the year, but they surely deserve it. The people of this country need to look around and see what they have been blessed with, and then turn to their left and their right and thank their veterans.
