The Theme of Loyalty As Portrayed in Greek Literature Throughout the ages, Greek literature has both entertained and guided audiences through the themes displayed within each work. They instructed people on how to act toward one another, and what values to practice in an attempt to better oneself. Loyalty is one of, if not the most, frequently seen theme that many can learn from. The most important thing that I have learned from these two works is that loyalty to one's family comes first, no matter what.
