Selfishness corrupted the 1920's leaving everyone to do as they pleased and forget morals. During this time period, people did what they wanted not heeding to the concerns of others. They did what they wanted disregarding rules and regulations. On January 16, 1920, the 18th Amendment passed prohibiting liquor in the United States.
