The most critical concept that I learned from this class is that today's managerial leaders have to perform complex balancing acts. For today and the future, leaders need to combine the best of traditional management with the new skills that work more efficiently in our new global society. According to Webster, a leader is "a person who has commanding authority or influence" (www.m-w.com).
