While the first two movements are similar in goal if not in approach, they both fall short. While adherents to those movements strive for civil legal rights, and even might achieve them, they will not liberate gays. Society itself is the problem which needs to be addressed, not homosexuality. Until society is transformed, homosexuals, as well as blacks, women, and others, will never be truly free.
