His several victories in the American Revolution helped to form American independence and established George Washington as an exceptional general. History from his wins of our independence to the Revolutionary War. He attained honor for his positions in the Revolution as commander-in-chief and general of the army. Washington also appointed the guidelines for our country today as leader of the Constitutional Convention. His dominance is shown as the first president of the United States.
