Sanger Rainsford - Character Sketch
"You've good eyes," said Whitney, with a laugh, "and I've seen you pick off
a moose moving in the brown fall bush at four hundred yards." Those are the
words used to describe Sanger Rainsford, the skillful and celebrated hunter and
protagonist in the short story, "The Most Dangerous Game".
Rainsford had great instincts when it came to hunting, and always being
