Characters Analysis In the Miller's Tale by Geoffrey Chaucer, one of the character that I found interesting is Nicholas. He was the student of a rich old carpenter named John. He only thought of himself that made him a human. Sir Gawain still had fears of losing his life in the challenge. This showed that although Sir Gawain was trying to be the perfect knight, he was just a normal person who still made mistakes, and sometimes could be dishonest.
