Soldiers of the Roman army had not one but many duties at their hands. Not only were they expected to fulfill their jobs as soldiers, but to serve for the bettering and well being of the community. for their responsibilities as soldiers. The Roman Army served for all purposes and was always prepared. They were experienced and participated in building and engineering projects; they were always there to protect their citizens and they were always there to help out the local communities in some way. All of these duties fulfilled probably without any benefit. No matter what duty the Roman Army was called to do, they always stood ready, strong and proud.
