Chaplin did an amazing job with this film, especially when considering that it was done in the 1920's. For a silent movie, "The Kid" was very ahead of its time. The film had everything that a movie should have. …showed last 75 words of 668 total…children and Charlie and the other child's older brother. This fight scene was hilarious, because the other guy was trying to punch Charlie but missing every time. The other man was hitting everything else but him. He was punching right through brick walls, and bending street lights but not one time did he hit Charlie. This film shows how much of a genius Charlie is. He is a great film creator and a great actor.
