It is interesting to think that I know very little about my personal historic folklore. These are things I should be concerned with, but do not seem particularly important to me. Sure, I know a lot about current "Net lore" and the like, but what has happened to stories that are passed down from one generation to the other. North Americans seem more concerned with current and future events, then with any significant historic legends.

the Andean way of life. There is much to learn from a community that bases its entire existence on its ancestor hood. You can't fail to be inspired by this mystical place. More than 25 rivers drain into this huge lake and the waters have been the lifeforce of this indigenous communities for thousands of years. This influence is still very much in evidence as ancient practices and traditions continue to live on with today's generations.
