Now do you understand why the Negro Leagues were so important? If there was no place for blacks to get recognized for their baseball talent, then there never have been a Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, or even a Barry Bonds. Right now we would still be watching segregated baseball today. The Negro Leagues did not just change baseball, but they changed our country forever!
