"We've been waiting for you." These were the words that greeted my enquiries about a room in the surprisingly pleasant motel on the dusty outskirts of Royston.

I replied, with no intention of ever returning there.
"Gee, that's kind. Get in. I'm Bobbi, and this is Frank," the woman began, as I sank into the back seat, blood pounding. "We're on our way to a barbeque. Meant to be kinda special. Everybody's gonna be there." Bobbi said, placing her hand on Frank's arm as the locks went on. Looking out of the window, I could see Mary's smile drawing closer and closer.
