THE KOKODA TRAIL
Located in New Guinea is the Kokoda Trail, home of a fierce battle in World War Two that is seen as one of the defining moments in Australia's history. This was where the Japanese Army was first broken. The courage and heroism of Australian soldiers on the Kokoda Trail must be one of the proudest and most memorable battles in Australia's wartime history.

The Battle of Kokoda marked the turning point of the war in the south west Pacific. The Japanese could no longer have a direct threat to Australia. The courage of our Diggers during this battle of the Kokoda Trail will always be remembered with great pride and honour.
