The environment in which students learn affects the entire learning process in a big way. While Some experts believe that a highly structured environment with strict focus on punctuality, routine and discipline enhances learning, many others believe exactly the opposite - giving students freedom to learn at their own pace. I support the latter point of view.

fare poorly in their courses. A flexible environment, on the other hand, would encourage the students to be more interested in their courses. The students would be more committed and involved in the learning process, primarily because they would be doing what they 'want' to do. Nobody would be forcing anything upon them.
Therefore, I feel a flexible learning environment would help the purpose of education more by bringing out the best from the students.
