Over the years, I have heard many, many times from my parents, my coaches and my teachers to never take anything for granted. And even though I heard them, I'm not quite sure that I was actually listening to the true meaning of these words. Where I saw taking books from the library as a difficult task for a wheelchair bound student, I must also applaud his/her determination and perseverance at accomplishing his/her goal. I should not judge the accomplishments by my standards but understand the accomplishments from theirs.
