I have a friend named Nadira who is from Saudi Arabia. She was writing a book about her experiences and was wondering what her responsibility to her audience was. …showed last 75 words of 420 total…Of course I really don't have a friend whose name is Nadira and there was no book. But the discrimination against women does exist. According to sources this treatment of women is not from the religion Islam, which all Saudi Arabians are, but from traditions of Saudi Arabia. This is wrong and I hope to see it corrected. Meanwhile I applaud those women who have the strength to come out and speak about their experiences.
