I found a very interesting article on the Internet which actually helped me to have a great overview of poverty in the United States of America. I believed that America is the most powerful and richest country in the world. Therefore, I guessed that there are not many people who are experiencing poverty as much as in other countries. However, this seems to be prejudgment without knowing that poverty is a reality in America.

not understand how America can have people starving with as many resources as that country has. However, poverty still exists in American society and a huge amount of edible foods are wasted unjustly. It would be very inappropriate if someone were to talk about the poverty while throwing away the food that he had been eating. As it concerns poverty, each individual will have to try to change the way he or she wastes food.
