The movie 'Platoon' showed the terrible situations during the Vietnam War as well as major horrors of the Vietnam War. It's one of the greatest war movies I've seen and it's hard to believe that it was made in 80's. In the beginning of the movie, it clearly showed that most of the US soldiers weren't educated and had very low life. Also, there were some conflicts between the leaders of two crews. …showed last 75 words of 1012 total…and left some of the places permanently scarred. Also, there wouldn't have been a long-time unnecessary war. What if the North Vietnamese were losing the war? In my opinion, if they started to lose the war, China and the USSR would have been involved in this war too and this probably would have led to World War. So I guess, it's better in many ways that North Vietnamese won the war instead of the US.
