In Britain during the early 19th Century, the country was going through many different changes. There was transformation occurring in Agricultural and Industrial trades. This then had consequence effect on the social standards of all the population. The dramatic change to the economical status in Britain gave rise to long and short-term problems. old hierarchical system was failing and social class barriers were being broken down. The government at first made matters much worse with all their new Acts, known as The Gagging Acts. After increase pressure the government realised that the only way to stop the population being discontented was to have a Political Reform. With reform at least when problems arise people will not have to suffer they have a voice within the House of Parliament.
