When attempting to write a detailed biographical essay on an individual who lived twenty-seven centuries ago, one may find themselves overwhelmed by the lack of tangible evidence presented. And yet, one can argue that his legacy was not sustained. His kingdom was destroyed and subjugated by Cyrus II and his Persian armies a mere thirty years after his death.
