I have experienced Jollibee here and in the Philippines.
In both places, I also find that it has been over-rated.
A couple of years (or three) before the opening of the
first Jollibee in Daly City, I was invited to meet with a
few Jollibee franchisees from Manila and their Director of
franchising, to discuss their plan to operate
internationally. (i.e., in the USA).

the USA, it is doubtful if a food business like Jollibee
will last long enough to weather the first three years'
growing pains of any start up business, especially in the
most competitive fast food industry. (Although Goldilock's
seems to be an exception. However, they have also recently
become unfocused when they bought into the packaged food
processing business which was sold by the late Genny Lopez,
Jr...time will tell).
