Gregorian chants, organums, masses, secular songs and madrigals. All the composers had a major role in the advancement of music through out the years of the Middle Ages (800-1450) and the Renaissance (1450-1600).
We have only gotten through the first couple of chapters but I have already learned so much. I never knew about Gregorian chants or the three elements of music. All in all, there is more to music than what meets the eye.
