A decade has past since I left for battle.
I could never have imagined how much one war could change so many lives. It left its mark both on the field and off the battlefield. War is a virus that infects everything in its path, humans, trees, soldiers and civilians. It does not care. It has no remorse.

it was my destiny. I knew that once returning home that I would once again be a husband, a father, a friend and land carer, just as every other soldier would go on living their lives as they had before. The only difference would be the new memories and perspectives we all had gained. This experience as horrific as it may have been made us all the people we are today.
