In this essay I am going to discuss the character of Macbeth, from the
famous Shakespearian play of the same name. I shall show the themes of the
play, the effects of character and action and Shakespeare's use of language
and linguistic devices.

As I have shown, Macbeth had both good and bad sides to his character, he
was very good at the beginning but he was highly influenced by the witches
which turned him into a greedy monster but I still felt a bit of sympathy for
him at the end when his wife died and he had to die fighting.
