Similarly, Lady Macbeth become emotionally disturbed by their actions because she realised how utterly wrong they were, and so she showed that knows the difference between right and wrong. By showing that they have consciences about what they have done, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth prove to the audience that they are not wholly evil.
