the boat. However, the story here is just gripping enough to keep one interested until the end.
Once the boat is launched, just about the entire movie takes place inside the sub so one can be drawn right into the crisis. It's not until later in the film that we see daylight, but even then the focus is kept on the sub and its crew, which amplifies some of the events later in the film.
