Juan flung the knife at Wayne's head. Before Wayne could fire a shot there was a shinny knife 3 inches into his head. He was dead and no one was around to see what happened.
Juan then took his knife from the lifeless body of the sheriff. He slowly walked back to the church, shut the door behind him, and locked it. He took a shower, hid his knife in the pews, and went to bed.
