Hitler passed the enabling act which transferred the power of making laws from the Reichstag to the Cabinet and in effect to Hitler. Hitler could now rule entirely by decrees and his dictatorship was established.
Hitler used the events which occurred between 1929 and 1933 to gain power and establish his dictatorship. He was a brilliant opportunist with the ability to captivate audiences with his amazing oratory and these qualities helped him to gain and maintain power.
