weird growing up having deaf parents, and still isn't. Hearing impairment is not always genetic. My parents taught me how to speak. Yes, my parents are able to speak, just not very clearly. My household is actually louder than most. There is a way for the hearing impaired to use telephones using T.D.D.s and via Relay Services. More importantly, they've given me aspiration and ambition to become the person I am today.
