On the other hand Mrs. Gardiner is the opposite of her sister-in-law. Mrs. Gardiner was in control the whole novel of what was going on around her. Mrs. Bennet had no idea on what was happening a lot of the time because she was so hysterical. Mrs. Gardiner is very quiet and can talk to Lizzy with no problem.
