He is kept in a chamber at a temperature of -6º Celsius and a relative air humidity of 98%, and is viewed by visitors through a small window ("Methods of Preservation"). He is one of the most famous corpses and greatly helped scientists and archaeologists with a better understanding of Neolithic life.
