Bentham's idea that a state should be run based on the general consensus seems more in tune with today's society than Burke's view of powerful families empowering the state. I agree with Marx's views on both religion and equality within the state; religion should not be involved in the running of the government, and each citizen should be allowed to peacefully live their lives.
