Fake friendship of Antony and Octavius. The friendship between Cassius and Brutus develops throughout the play, and by the end of Cassius life Brutus mourns for him as much as he did for Caesar. Brutus proves to be the noblest character in the play, even though he kills a dear friend of his, Caesar. His relationship was of great love, but he loved the people more and wanted what was for the good of Rome.
