These include construction of reservoirs to hold emergency water supplies, education to avoid overcropping and overgrazing, and programs to limit settlement in drought areas. Droughts affect on humans is catastropic because water is limited or gone. Without water crops couldn't grow people wouldn't be able to get a drink and everyone whould eventulay die.
