She was aware that not all dreams come true, but people should still try and be happy no matter where they are or how they live their lives. I think that Lorraine Hansberry was very clear about how she felt and the play showed most vividly, her attitude towards dreams and the consequences and obstacles that people have to face in their lifetime.
