Dating in the workplace has always been an issue when it comes the U.S. military. In fact certain relationships are against the UCMJ (Uniformed Code of Military Justice) and can be severely punished by military courts depending upon the amount of damage caused including discharge from the military.

I know it would be very upsetting to me if I knew that a co-worker was getting special treatment in their career because they were dating a member of our organizational chain of command. Besides if people are concerned with this type of relationship it makes completing the mission much harder.
