book. Democracy, possibly the most invincible form of government in the world today, de Toqueville points out some potential flaws. The analysis de Toqueville gives also had practical benefits. First, it made people wary of what would happen to them if they didn't follow certain guidelines, but second, it caused people to think before jumping onto the democracy bandwagon. In sum, this was an excellent philosophical book that should be read by all young philosophers.
