Created in 1787, the Constitution is the soul and center of the United States as we know it. It is one of the most famous documents in history. Our forefathers knew that the thirteen colonies needed to be united and that the people of the government did not want tyranny. This is why they made so many compromises and the ability to make amendments which is why our constitution is still the only written constitution that has full effect till this very day.
