Rights and Freedoms states shouldn't life regardless of things such as race or age be appraised at the same value. Although it is obvious that humans are the most powerful beings, that doesn't mean that we should see ourselves as worth more then others, it just means that it is our obligation to help the weak survive because we could have very easily be put in there place tens of thousands of years ago.
