New England and Chesapeake colonies became different because of three main reasons: climate, economical aim, and religion. In spite both of the regions being founded by the same people, Europeans, these areas became vastly differential based upon those three factors. were searching for a religious free area, where they could live, not having to deal with persecution. Chesapeakens on the other hand, searched for an area where they could make a lot of profit it on, because those items might not be present on the European market, and if you brought it, it would be highly priced (Tobacco). With the factors of economy, religion, and climate, I would have to say these changes were inevitable.
