Teachers must present a positive learning environment and be maintained throughout the course of the year to have a successful year. Characteristics including being organized, efficient, friendly, caring, creative, and encouraging are just a few good characteristics that good teaches should possess. Prohibiting students from using their own language makes them ashamed of their language and shy to speak in class. The characteristics presented in this paper on only a few good characteristics of teachers. To list all of them would create a very long essay! I only hope to develop and exercise as many of these characteristics as possible when I begin to teach.
