'The Stone Angel' and 'The Great Gatsby' are both novels in which the main character(s) are explored and we discover about their lives. Interior monologue allows us to go into more detail of the character therefore it is far better (as I see it) for the reader as we can actually get into the life of the people/person we are reading about.
