The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, is a play which focuses on the Salem Witch trials which took place in 1692. One of the main characters in the play is Abigail Williams. The girls played along with Abigail which shows that she is manipulative and that the girls do whatever she tells them to do because they are scared of her. My overall analysis of Abigail is that she always needs to get what she wants, even if it is difficult to obtain, she is overbearing and bossy, greedy, and the only people she cares about are she and John Proctor.
