I decided to write on the cave of Lascaux for this paper. I went online to read more on the topic and I found it to be really interesting. Located in France, the accidental discovery of this cave, in 1942, turned out to be one of the most important sites of prehistoric man. the people would go to draw what they thought (or hoped) would be a good hunt. The Lascaux cave allows archaeologists to learn more about the land, people, and culture of prehistoric time. I choose to write on the cave of Lascaux because I think it's fascinating how artwork from 17,000 years ago can be seen and studied by people now. It has proven itself to be one of the greatest finds of this time period.
